For a lot of people with disability, the housework is where energy runs out first. The bathroom gets away from them. The washing stays in the machine. And the longer it’s left, the harder it is to start.
Household tasks support is for NDIS participants in Geelong and the Surf Coast who need a hand keeping their home clean, safe and in order, and for the family members who’ve been driving across town on a Sunday to do it. We come on the same day each week, we learn how they like things, and we leave the place feeling like theirs.
For some people the goal is saving energy for better things. For others it’s learning to do more themselves, one job at a time. We’ll do either, and usually a bit of both.
A clean, safe, organised home, without it taking everything your family member has. We help with the cleaning, the laundry and the jobs that pile up, alongside the person where they want to be involved and for them where they don’t.
Kitchen, bathroom, floors, dusting and surfaces. The regular clean that keeps a home healthy.
Washing, hanging out, folding, ironing if it matters, and putting away where things belong.
Stripping and making beds, with fresh sheets and towels on a regular rhythm.
Washing up, wiping down, clearing the fridge of what's past it, and keeping benches clear.
Sorting the mail, clearing walkways, finding a home for things so the house is safer and easier to live in.
Rubbish and recycling out on the right night, shopping put away, the little things noticed before they become big ones.
It can change from week to week, and from job to job.
Where energy is low, or a task isn’t safe or possible, we simply get it done.
Side by side, sharing the job. They do what they can and we do the rest.

We learn the house before we touch it.
Fill in the form or call. We'll ring you back and listen: which jobs are hardest, how often help is needed, and how involved your family member wants to be.
Your support worker visits with Masego while you're there. We walk through the house together and hear how they like things done.
One or two visits to learn where everything goes and what matters most. Their products, their order, their way.
Same worker, same day each week, written into a simple service agreement. If something has to change, you hear it from us first.

We use their products, follow their order of doing things, and never rearrange a room without being asked.

Your support worker learns where things live and how the towels are folded once. Nobody re-explains.

We knock, we ask, and we involve the person as much as they want. It's their home and they stay in charge of it.

Audited against the NDIS Practice Standards. Everyone here holds an NDIS Worker Screening Check and a Working With Children Check. Ask to see the paperwork.
Household tasks are funded under Assistance with Daily Life, part of the Core Supports budget, where a participant can’t manage them alone because of their disability. Core Supports is flexible, so hours can usually be moved between household tasks, personal care and other daily supports.
Cleaning products and supplies are provided by the participant, as they would be in any home. Our support is everyday housework inside the house. For lawn mowing, yard maintenance or a one-off heavy clean, tell us and we’ll point you to a provider who does those. We bill in line with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits.

Yes. We’re a team of three, you’ll meet all of us before we start, and your regular support worker stays your regular support worker.

Yes. Whether your family member lives alone, with housemates or with you, we work around the household.
Either. Some people want the job done; others want to do it alongside us or learn to do it themselves. It can change from week to week, and we follow their lead.
The participant, as an everyday household cost. We use what’s already in the home, which also means the house smells and feels the way they like it.
Yes, and it usually is. One visit might include the washing, the bathroom and getting dinner started. See assistance with daily activities and meal preparation.
Feel free to reach out through our website or give us a call. We are happy to help.
Tell us about your family member and the jobs that have got away from them. We’ll call you back, arrange a meet-and-greet at home, and take it from there.
